With ‘The Serpent,’ I wanted to capture transformation, duality, and the eternal cycles of creation and renewal.

The two serpents, intertwined through the sacred geometry of the Merkaba, symbolize the unity of opposites—light and shadow, chaos and harmony. While the serpent has often been misunderstood or feared, its symbolism is deeply transformative. It invites us to shed what no longer serves us and embrace growth and self-discovery.

In this artwork, the Merkaba—a sacred geometric shape—anchors the serpents in their cosmic dance, bridging the realms of spirit and matter. This balance is something I strive for in my own journey and hope to share through my work.

To celebrate the 2025 Lunar Year of the Serpent and mark the beginning of my new project, Sanctum Dark, I’m releasing this drawing as a timed edition giclée print.

The edition will be available for 72 hours only, starting on 29th January at 9:00 AM CEST, and ending on 31st January at 8:59 AM CEST. Each print will feature a hand-embellished gold leaf Ouroboros seal, adding a touch of mysticism to represent the infinite cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
